Sonepar Canada Becomes PAIR Committed Member with the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business

10.01.2026

Sonepar Canada is proud to announce that it has become a Committed Member of the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business’s (CCIB), Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) program. This reinforces Sonepar’s dedication to building respectful and long‑term relationships with Indigenous Peoples across Canada.

The PAIR program is a nationally recognized framework that helps organizations strengthen Indigenous relations through leadership, employment, business development, and community engagement. By becoming a PAIR Committed Member, Sonepar is taking an important step in advancing its Indigenous Relations strategy and directly answering the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s 92nd Call to Action, regarding the corporate sector in Canada and its commitment to Indigenous Peoples.

“Becoming PAIR Committed is an important milestone for Sonepar in Canada,” said Dan Drazilov, Sonepar Canada VP Mergers & Acquisition and Business Development. “It reflects our intention to listen, learn, and work collaboratively with Indigenous communities, and businesses. This commitment supports our broader objective of fostering inclusion while reinforcing our role as a trusted and responsible corporate partner across the communities we serve. Our goal is to establish a sustainable partnership with Indigenous communities that have flourished in their territories for thousands of years.

Through the PAIR program, Sonepar has a structured path to guide how it engages with Indigenous communities, with progress measured against recognized standard and best practices.
